At June 27the 2008, comic industry has lost one of it’s big talent, Michael Turner. Michael Turner was the creator of Witchblade, Fathom and the founder of Aspen comic.
Since he diagnosed with cancer on 2000, it turned out he was never that healthy (although from the surface, he looked fine). After 7 years of battle, he passed away.
Honestly, i’m not a really big fan of his work but his passing is really bring out the tears from my eye sockets.

With so many great artists (Will Eisner, Jack Kirby, Alex Toth and Mike Weiringo..to name a few) have found their place up there, someday heaven will publish it’s own comic book company.

Michael Turner is not with us today but his work will influence many of tomorrow’s artists.

Now…..please, bow your heads together and let us pray for him and his family.

At the end of the yellow brick road, there lies the emerald city..
A city of joy, peace and happiness…
but
there is also the wicked witch of the west who will bring trouble, malice and sadness waiting for us there..

Together we can defeat the witch as long as we hold on to each other..
Together we can overcome any problems that lies beyond the sunrise..
Together we will fight the world and stand victorious on top of the palisade hill..

There is no victory without a fight..
There is no fight without sacrifices..

How big is the will to sacrifice?

The ‘L’ word is not about acceptableness..
The ‘L’ word is also about sacrifices..

Are you willing to sacrifice in order to walk the yellow brick road?
The road is ‘God knows’ how long it will be..are you prepare for whatever will we encounter during the journey?
There will be no one but us in this road..no one…
Are we ready for the journey?
Let’s travel lightly…take what is necessary, throw the ego away
Are you ready?
